Leading Appliances celebrates 2nd birthday

Leading Appliances is soon to celebrate our 2nd birthday, a great milestone for our business. Since we started in April 2013, we’ve seen sixteen new members join our group, with other new members ready to be announced in coming months. It’s an exciting time for our group as we’ve entrenched our market position and given our members the opportunity to increase their sales and profitability as a result of our business model, supplier support and proactive marketing activity.

In that time we’ve grown our sales revenues year on year, although the past few months have proven to be challenging, with retail conditions remaining somewhat difficult as consumer confidence flatlines. As we approach our second birthday we will be rolling out a proactive ‘Birthday Celebrations’ marketing campaign through April to drive sales and further entrench our brand in the market.

In August we will also be holding our second annual conference in Melbourne, in conjunction with LEE, and this gives our members and suppliers the opportunity to come together and plan out the year ahead, with suppliers showcasing new products and sharing vital market directions, while we incorporate guest speakers and workshops into the conference agenda. Our inaugural Store of the Year as announced at least year’s conference, Taree Leading Appliances, will make an opening presentation to the conference, as will Supplier of the Year, Electrolux Home Products. It promises to be a great 3 day event for Leading Appliances.

Looking to the year ahead, we have formalised our marketing schedule, which consists of monthly Catalogues, ‘Event’ Flyers, individual store Facebook pages and a state-of-the-art Website. General retail conditions in Australia are challenging, however as a group we are overcoming these challenges by remain positive and proactive, working closely with our members and suppliers to ensure we are at the forefront of consumer’s minds, offering competitive pricing, latest technology, the best brands and outstanding customer service. Our motto, ‘Real Service, Real People’ outlines our dedication to providing the best level of customer service we can, an edict by which we pride ourselves and excel at. At Leading Appliances we look to the remainder of 2015 with much optimism, as our existing members continue to trade successfully, and we continue to add new members to our group, further entrenching our brand, our market position and our relationship with, and relevance to, our supplier base.
