The night recognised the Leading Edge Computers members and preferred vendors who had made outstanding achievements and contributions to its business during the past year. The criteria for judging was aimed at acknowledging those individuals, stores and vendors that demonstrated a strong customer service focus, passion for the business and a commitment to the Leading Edge Computers Group.
The five finalists for the top accolade, Leading Edge Computers Store of the Year were:
- LEC Albany WA
- LEC Charters Towers QLD
- LEC Thirroul NSW
- LEC Port Macquarie NSW
- LEC Launceston TAS
The Leading Edge Computers Store of the Year was presented to Guy Coble from Leading Edge Computers Port Macquarie NSW.
Leading Edge Computers Port Macquarie is an independently owned operated business that has been trading for 5 years. This business was purchased by Guy Coble after successfully establishing his first Leading Edge Computer store in Cowra NSW which he still owns and operates alongside the Port Macquarie business.
Leading Edge Computers Port Macquarie has recently relocated to a new and larger showroom on Lake Road after outgrowing its existing premises in the centre of town. This came as a direct result of Guy’s innovative approach to the Business to Business (B2B) market and his dedication to customer service.
Leading Edge Computers Port Macquarie employs 11 staff and attributes his success to the strength of his entire working team. ” Without quality staff, dedicated to advancing their skills and providing professional service, this award would not have been possible” Guy stated.
Displaying great pride in his business achievements, Guy will have little time to rest on his laurels. With plans in place to continue to promote the Leading Edge Computers Port Macquarie brand and further enhance his service offering to his customers the future is looking bright.
Other winners on the night were;
- Dynamic Supplies - Supplier Of The Year
- Toshiba - Brand Of The Year
- Rob Webster (Lenovo) - Account Manager Of The Year
- Rhett Stockdale (LEC Dubbo) - Local Hero Award
